I can't believe it's 2009. Where does the time go? This year really flew by for us. Maybe it was being new parents or maybe it is because we are just getting older. I know that for me, every year seems to go by faster than the last.
We spent New Years Eve apart this year because I had to work the night shift and Stan stayed home with Abby. I don't think either one of them saw midnight that night. My coworkers and I watched the ball drop in NYC on the tiny tv and then we just went back to work. It was kind of funny to only celebrate for the 10 second countdown.
I love this time of year, despite the weather. It is such a good time of renewed motivation to get things done. I am looking forward to a great year and I hope it is a great year for all of my friends and family too.
