Weekend Fun

This weekend was a busy one. Life is busy, right? I know I'm in the minority here but I always think about the weekend as starting on Thursday. I may be alone except for the college crowd but I think about it like that because I have to work on the weekends, starting on Thursday night. So I start my weekend round up on Thursday when I took both of the kids to the park for lunch and to play. Abby was so excited. It was a beautiful Spring day and because it was Thursday, the park wasn't very crowded. On Friday evening, we headed back to that same park for a annual Jaycee Event. While Stan helped set things up, we played on the playground.

Then it was time for the fishing. Stan and Abby got their fishing hook loaded and then went fishing in the pond. They didn't catch anything, which was just fine with us. I walked around with Stanley in the stroller trying to see if he would fall asleep because 2 seconds after I snapped this sweet picture he started crying. He's at the age now where he doesn't want to sit in the carseat carrier.

Then we went to see Julia's school talent show. We were able to see a few kids perform but we didn't get to see Julia's dance because I had to go home early and get ready for work. Abby told us it was awesome and that Julia was the best performer of the night.

On Saturday, we had pictures for dance. I don't know why I didn't also take some pics with my camera. I will have to make up for that when the recital time comes. Abby and Izzy looked so cute in their ballet costumes. We had their pictures taken together, too.

Then on Sunday night we went out to dinner with the whole family and Victor's family to celebrate his mother's birthday. Sorry no pictures from that either.
